A Little Update on Katelyn and Carolina (and Gizmo!)

Carolina sent us the last photo she took of “King Gizmo,” reigning as usual from a porch chair!

Dear friends, some of you might be wondering what ever became of Katelyn and Carolina – the two young women who came to our cloister last year as part of their discerning a vocation to found a new religious community.

We’re happy to say that Katelyn and Carolina were deeply graced by their time here. Please pray for them as they now head back to Wyoming to continue to discern God’s call in their lives.

One last question that may be lingering for some of you … what about Gizmo, Katelyn and Carolina’s cat from Jerusalem?? “Giz” joined the departing duo, but not before wrapping us all around his little paw! Some weeks later, Carolina informed us that the cat had gone missing, and she and Katelyn suspect that he met his demise. Either that, or (as some of the nuns like to believe), he’s making an epic “Homeward Bound” journey back to KY! Only time will tell …
