There are many signs that autumn has arrived at the monastery. Some, like changing trees and leaf-strewn paths, are universal; others, such as postulant veils flying in the wind, are more unique to the cloister! Today we bring you a glimpse of this beautiful season around our grounds …

Today also marks the beginning of another part of autumn that is always highly anticipated around St. Joseph’s monastery: our annual fall retreat! Please keep us and all other Passionist nuns around the world in your prayers as we prepare spiritually to renew our five holy vows on November 21st, the feast of Our Lady’s Presentation in the Temple!
