It's Still Easter!

50 Days of Joy

The great “feast of feasts” was two weeks ago today … but the celebration is far from over! Holy Mother Church wants to make sure her children prolong the observance of Easter, and so the liturgies during these 50 days of joy are replete with that victorious Resurrection cry: Alleluia!

Here at the monastery, we delight in singing those Alleluias in the daily Mass and Divine Office, and they lend a mood of quiet joy to our entire day. We also love to see how nature itself joins in the Paschal jubilation, as the life-filled season of spring takes hold. Do you have any special ways you like to celebrate the Easter season?
