Join Us in Prayer This Week

This week, you are invited to join us for two special prayer events at our monastery:

Wednesday, March 23rd, at 4:30 pm — We will be holding our monthly Eucharistic Adoration and Solemn Vespers as a part of the national Eucharistic Revival. Fr. Jeff Read, from the Diocese of Evansville (and the brother of our own Mother John Mary!), will be presider and preacher. The evening includes:

  • Eucharistic Adoration

  • Chanted Vespers

  • An inspiring homily

  • About 45 minutes of silent adoration

  • Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament

Friday, March 25th — On this Solemnity of the Annunciation, we and our chaplain, Fr. Lou Caporiccio, CPM, will be participating in the Holy Father’s consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. As always, our chapel is open all day, and everyone is invited to join us in praying for peace.

The scheduled prayer times during the day are as follows:

  • 6:20 AM — Solemn Morning Prayer

  • 7:00 AM — Holy Mass and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

  • Adoration will continue all morning

  • 9:30 AM — Midmorning Prayer and Stations of the Cross

  • 11:00 AM — Consecration Prayer (Bishops around the world will be praying the consecration at this same time)

  • 12:00 noon — Midday Prayer and Benediction

  • 2:55 - 3:55 PM — Eucharistic Holy Hour
