Welcome, Holly!
Yes, you read that title right — the Lord has blessed us with a second aspirant during this Year of St. Joseph! Holly, who hails from Cincinnati, Ohio, was accepted to enter the aspirancy program on the first Saturday of November. We look forward to journeying with Holly through this time of more intense discernment with our community, and we ask your prayers for her as she explores Passionist life more deeply, in company with our other aspirant, Hannah!
On the last day of Holly’s live-in visit this November, we held a little musical “jam session” to celebrate. She just so happens to be an excellent violinist, and so she and Sr. Cecilia Maria serenaded us with a delightful Mozart concerto. However, this is Kentucky after all … so when the classical portion of the “concert” was over, we pulled out the dulcimer and sang some good ol’ Appalachian folk music — with a couple of praise and worship songs thrown in for good measure!
