Two Big Prayer Requests!

Sr. Ann Miriam (dec) and Sr. Marie Michael at our original monastery in Owensboro

Our dear Sr. Marie Michael is journeying to our heavenly Father today on Father’s Day. She suffered a brain bleed and after being admitted to the hospital last Sunday, June 7, has declined rapidly. Her family and our sisters are keeping vigil with her around the clock here at the monastery with the assistance of hospice.  Please keep her and us all in your prayers during these sacred moments as we await the Lord’s coming for our Sister.

Sr. Marie Michael was very supportive of the initiatives of the monastic congregation for the Passionist Nuns, and she sacrificed and prayed for its fulfillment. It can hardly be a coincidence that Mother Catherine Marie and her General Council from France (an Italian nun), Mexico, Italy (an Indonesian nun), and Brazil begin their week-long General Council meeting today, Sunday, June 16. Please do keep them in prayer too as they discern how to move forward in assisting the Passionist Nuns throughout the world to fulfill the Father’s plan for Passionist contemplative life.
