We are so grateful and ask the Lord of the Living to bless you for your prayers for us during this time of grief and most of all for our dear departed Sister Mary Dolores. Below is the obituary that was in today's newspaper.

Sister Mary Dolores, 74, of the Incarnate Word, C.P., (Mary Margaret “Cissy” Hornbeck) died September 8, 2015 in the Harbor Unit at Redbanks Skilled Nursing Center in Henderson, Kentucky.
Born January 24, 1941, in Owensboro, daughter of the late Joseph William and Mary Elizabeth Boehmann Hornbeck, Sister Mary Dolores was baptized at St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Owensboro and attended St. Stephen Cathedral Elementary School, St. Francis Academy and Catholic High School in Owensboro, and graduated from Presentation Academy in Louisville, Kentucky. After graduation, she worked for several years at Yellow Pages in Louisville.
She entered the Passionist Monastery in Owensboro in 1962, professing her first vows in 1964 and perpetual vows in 1967. Sister Mary Dolores had the “heart of a servant,” always ready and willing to help anyone who needed assistance. She served her monastic community in secretarial work, and then as novice directress and council member. Sister loved to cook and was known by relatives of the community as “Sister Mary Delicious.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her older sister, Sister Barbara Ann Hornbeck, S.C.N., and by her brother, William Joseph Hornbeck, as well as by two siblings who died in infancy.
Sister is survived by a sister, Betsy H. Brodnax and her husband, Chuck Brodnax of Garland, Texas; a sister-in-law Sue Hornbeck; cousins Gene (Margaret) Boehmann, Jerry Boehmann and Judy Hoffman and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the Passionist Monastery, 8564 Crisp Road, Whitesville. Burial is in the Passionist Monastery Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the monastery where prayers are 6 p.m. Friday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of Mass offerings or memorial offerings to the Passionist Nuns. We express our deep gratitude to the staff at Redbanks in Henderson, Kentucky for their excellent care of Sister Mary Dolores since her admission in May of this year.
